Amy Richards, Vice President of Mt McKinley Operations spoke on June 13th about how much banking has changed over the years. There used to be many loans that would transact with a simple handshake, now days require strict policy and checks and balances. Many aspects of banking have made drastic changes since the security increases have been enforced. We were given an opportunity to see that what appears to be valid tender was indeed counterfeit. Surprising enough there are scams that lurk in our backyard. We must all be weary of our usage of our personal identification and watch for things that just don’t feel right or are of suspicious nature.
