Scholarship Committe Meeting

In order to learn more about how we manage our scholarships through the Foundation, Tammy and Joanne, officers of the North Pole Rotary Club Foundation, will give a presentation at 11A this Wednesday at the Pagoda. If you are interested, please join us! If you would like to serve on the Scholarship Committee and help select this year’s recipients, please let Scholarship Chair Chuck know you are interested.

Fight against Polio

Dear Rotarians:
Rotarian Alana Bergh gave a presentation about Rotary's effort to fight Polio on November 14. She stated that Rotarians have an opportunity to triple their gift. For example: if you give $100 to PolioPlus, District 5010 will match your gift and the RI Foundation will also match your gift.
We have several members that have made a donation. If you would like to donate to PolioPlus, please let me know by December 7 (Yes, I can bill your account).
Thank you,
Margarita Bell

Food Bank Volunteers

Rotarians who volunteered at the Food Bank last Wednesday. Many thanks to those who could help the Food Bank. Sam Kirsten and the staff at Food Bank were extremely grateful. One thousand food boxes were packed last Wednesday. Pictured above, Joanne, Alana, John, Pamela, Jack, Katherine, Tasmine, (that’s Jeri cut off there). Not pictured: Jeff Tucker. As of this writing unfortunately I don’t have a complete list of volunteers but we thank you!!
