Halibut Feed Meeting

Everyone is welcome to join our first meeting at Dave's house Feb 25th 630pm. (map will be emailed). We will be covering the duties that it takes to have yet another successful fundraiser. Duties will be volunteered and assigned so be sure to come and have a voice. This meeting is good for a make-up and there will be wine and Cheese!

Don't forget to gather items for your baskets. We had beautiful ones last year and found them to be a big hit! If you have any ideas on a target audience, please let us know, last year we had a great showing from North Pole's Santa Senior Center.

P.S. Then March 19th there is a working Rotary Meeting (normal Wednesday at noon) we can iron out any last minute details.

Rotary Trip to India

Dear Fellow Rotarians & Friends,
I'm off on another voyage to India. As many of you know, I will be joining 55 other Rotarians from the US, Canada, Sweden and the UK to help immunize children from polio and then help build a new school house and daycare centre in Chahalka, India. For those that may be interested in following our journey, PDG Elias Thomas from Maine has set up the following BLOG site:

Thank you to all of the great Rotarians that contributed funds toward the US $50,000 needed to buy materials for the new school and daycare centre and gave gifts for the children. I will be back in Anchorage on March 5th so please hold any emails until then. I will have very little access to read or send emails during this trip. People often ask why I do this and the answer is simple, because
I'm a Rotarian.
