North Pole Rotary Fellowship Program

We are starting a monthly fellowship opportunity for our North Pole Club. Rotarian Dave has generously offered his home for these gatherings. Mark your calendar for the fourth Tuesday of every month, beginning at 6:30P. Directions to Dave’s will be sent out later. Why get together? Whether you are a brand new member, maybe just in the club for a year or two, or seasoned members, we all enjoy a little wind down after work. But it’s also a time for us, and our spouses/partners if they’d like to join us, to learn more about Rotary, what our Club does and why, and get to know each other better. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, to continue to educate ourselves, and just enjoy each others company. Plus, these will count as makeup's! Stay tuned for more information!

Future Farmers of America

This year, NPHS's chapter of the Future Farmers of America are selling flower baskets as a fund raiser for their programs, on behalf of the North Pole Beautification Committee.

They are currently taking orders for hanging baskets that feature red & white "wave" petunias with blue lobelia, for $35.00. They also have an Alaska Mix of nasturtiums in a hanging basket, available for $20.00. For those of you that would prefer to plant your own flowers, they will have 6-packs of petunias, pansies, and nasturtiums available for sale after May 5th.

If anyone is interested in purchasing baskets for their home or place of business, and at the same time lending some support to the NPHS FFA & the NP Beautification Committee, please contact Lisa Laqua at 488-3761, ext. 9220 by April 18th.
Please pass on the word to others!

Yours in Rotary,

Tammy
